Golden Rum Cake
I love this recipe and have made it for several years. I use a mini fluted pan (courtesy Pampered Chef) and cook for about 35 min. When it's done, I give it as gifts to my staff. Since it's at work I use rum emulsion instead of the real stuff for the glaze (still real rum in the cake). It's always a hit!

Baked Ziti IV
I made two 9x13 pans for my son's 18th birthday party. I barely got to try it - there was only one serving left when they were done. It was a hit!! Thanks Seth!! I used the "best marinara sauce yet" recipe from this site. What a great combo.

Turkey Brine
I've tried several brine packages and none have come out as good as this. I forgot to buy vegetable broth so I added carrots, onions and celery seed (also forgot the celery) to one gallon of water, the spices (I didn't measure just dumped and/or cut large branches from my plants)and salt. Boiled for a few minutes until veggies were tender then followed directions. Brined 14+ lb turkey for about 18 hrs and then followed parchment baking instructions from marthastewart.com. This is by far the BEST turkey I have ever made and one of the best that I have ever had.
