Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2014
I absolutely loved this recipe. I have never made lemon meringue pie before, so I just made it for myself. It came out fantastic! I am a pretty experienced baker and I found the recipe very easy to follow. It was the perfect mix between sweet and tart and tastes like heaven. I plan on making this for many years to come.

French Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2011
Made this bread while I was visiting my parents this weekend. It was amazing. I followed the directions exactly but for one of the loaves I added fresh garlic butter in the middle and it came out great. We ate the first loaf when it came out of the oven, just fresh with butter and we saved the garlic loaf to eat with our spaghetti that night. We ate every bit of it and I can't wait to make it again. Thanks for a wonderful recipe

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
This is amazing! I followed the recipe exactly and it came out luscious, very moist and tasty. I baked it in an 11 x 13 pan which cut the baking time to about 45 minutes. I made this for one of my best friends birthday and he loved it. Everyone that ate a piece raved about how good it was and everyone could tell it was "scratch" made.

Melt In Your Mouth Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
These were really good, my hubby loves peanut butter cookies of any kind and he really loved these. I did cut the flower just a little to make them a bit crispier and less fluffy but other than that I stuck with the recipe. I made two batches and froze the rest.

Honey Wheat Sandwich Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
These are really really good! I accidentally made them too small so they didn't really work for sandwiches but next time I will make them bigger! They are seriously very delicious!

Soft Garlic Breadsticks

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
Oh my God these are amazing!!!!! I made these to go with my home made pizza the other night and I couldn't believe how awesome they turned out. I followed the recipe exactly and they were perfect. My husband said they were better than Olive Garden! On half of them I brushed garlic butter and on the other half I sprinkled garlic salt. I will definitely make these again and again.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2010
Didn't follow the recipe exactly and it still came out fantastic. I kicked up the spice a little bit more by adding a little Texas Pete and Hot chili beans. I highly recommend this!

Peach Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
Really good bread. I used half whole wheat and half white flour and half apple sauce half oil to try and cut some calories and fat. Overall great taste. Not too sweet and the peach flavor is good. I would probably cut the amount of cinnamon next time I make it since they may be masking some of the peach flavor

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
Made these for dinner last night and they were fantastic. Made the recipe exactly as written and had no problems. Ate the leftovers this morning and they were just as good heated up. Won't be making bisquick pancakes anymore, when these are just as good and simple to make too.

Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2010
I used this recipe as a base, but i added a little chocolate and whipping cream here and there to make it the right consistency. I used my fondue pot instead of a double boiler and it worked great. I melted some white chocolate chips and drizzled that over the top of the pretzels and they looked and tasted great. They were a big hit at the party I went to. tastes much better than almond bark and candiquick, take the time to make the real thing

Banana Walnut Cornbread

Reviewed: May 10, 2010
This is pretty good. I did the recipe exactly as written except I did 3 bananas instead of 2 since I had 3 that were getting ready to go bad. It isn't very sweet, but it is hardy and a nice change from sweet morning breads.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
This is amazing! I made it for a holiday party with Chocolate chips and toffee chips and it was good. Made it for Christmas eve with my family and put shaved semisweet bakers chocolate in it instead of chocolate chips (sometimes cold chocolate chips gets stuck in my teeth and shaved chocolate doesn't seem to have that problem). And rolled the ball in Crushed pecans. OMG!! It was sensational. My family devoured it on Chocolate graham crackers and there was none left. I will most definitely be making this for all special occasions from now on.

These cookies were easy to roll out and when you follow the instructions they bake perfectly :) The only problem I had was they taste a little salty to me, so i think i will cut the salt in half next time. Other than that great recipe
