Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce
This was fantastic! My boyfriend is "traumatized" by the thought of spagetti (a dish I crave!) and this was perfect for both of us! I didn't have the broh or the parmesan but a buillion cube and a 1/2 cup of water fixed that part just fine. As for the cheese, I went without (mine was way past the 'use by' date) and it was still delicious! I also added onion and grilled chicken as others had suggested and it really gave it some oomph! Loved it!

Pecan Pumpkin Pie III
I tried this pie out in preparation of Thanksgiving... Used my work collegues as guinea pigs if you will. I first must say that the flavors were definitely there. It was soft, smooth, chewy and crunchy.. My complaint is this. Pumpkin to me seems like it should have been more firm. I even pre baked the first layer 10 minutes (trying to get it distinct) and it was still very soft. And with the temperature, my crust was toast. Totally crunchy black. I set my timer and backed off the oven and the timer went off before I made it to 350... I'm an ammateur baker... well.. beginner is more like it, so I don't know how to fix the firmness, the distinction or the blackening of the crust, but I'm probably not going to be showing off this particular pie for dinner anymore.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I
I made this exactly as the recipe states (with the exception of winging a few measurements) and this is the best stroganoff ever. I've tried to sneak in McCormick's slow-cooker packet on my boyfriend, feeling lazy, and he thought I'd burned a great meal... I had to tell him I cheated. Go with this one.. How hard is it to throw ingredients into a slow cooker? Awesome, awesome recipe!
