Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2008
Great recipe! I listened to the advice of HOLLY9000 and it came out amazing. Almost like pork marsala. The key alterations are definitely as follows: Reduce oven time(I used boneless chops and browned them for about 3-4 mins on each side and then cooked for 20/20). Also, definitelyl add sauteed onions & mushrooms to the doubled sauce. I sauteed them right in the pork grease and added about 1/2 cup of white wine and a pat of butter during cooking - then after liquid simmered off I added them to the sauce. My husband really does not like pork and he said I could make this one any time. Thanks for the recipe!!

Cinnamon Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2008
This recipe is pretty good. I liked it because the waffles came out nice and fluffy. My husband wasn't crazy about it because it had more of an eggy flavor than he likes. I'll probably try one of the other recipes next time. Worth a try though!

Italian Style Flounder

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
I wasn't terribly impressed by this one. Flavor was good, but nothing to write home about. And the fish came out a little on the mushy side. I don't think I'd make this again.

Baked Scallops

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2008
Delicious! I also used Panko breadcrumbs mixed with italian breadcrumbs and it came out great. I put fresh parsley and paprika on top for a nice touch and presentation. Will definitely make this a regular recipe for my family.

Broccoli-Stuffed Sole

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
Especially good for the non-fish lovers in the house. The fish takes on the cheesy flavor and stays very moist. Even my 2 year old gobbled it up. It's nice and quick for a weekday dinner. One thing to caution, I only used 6 fillets and forgot to cut down on the salt a bit..otherwise fantastic!

Basil Chicken over Angel Hair

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2008
This was simple and excellent. The only changes I made to the recipe was to (1)marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for about 30 mins and then grill, (2)double the amount of fresh basil, (3)add just under a tbsp of sugar to the sauce, and (4)coated the pasta with pesto before combining with the sauce. It was a huge hit with the fam and not too fussy at all. Thanks!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2008
Incredible taste!!! My family only uses this recipe for our holiday dinners. I've used store bought stuffing mix rather than fresh bread to save time and still comes out amazing.
