Cream Soup Base

Reviewed: May 4, 2010
This is a good substitute for canned cream soups, which my hubby doesn't like. I also don't like using chicken bouillon, so I use half milk and half chicken broth. I will definitely keep this recipe on hand for future use! Thanks for sharing!

I subbed this recipe with canned French Onion Soup to make Salisbury Steak (recipe also from this sight). This worked great and even the picky husband loved it! Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful & easy! I think I will try this with other variations like coating the lil smokies in bbq sauce, adding cheese, adding mustard, etc. Thanks for sharing!

Peach Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2011
These were delicious, though mine turned out more like a sweet bread (like pumpkin or zucchini bread) than a muffin. A wonderful summertime treat.

Homemade Peanut Butter Cups

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2010
This was my first time to make these and they turned out great! I followed other suggestions. I chilled the pb mixture, rolled it into balls and then chillsed again. To assemble the pb cups I used a pastry bag for the chocolate, filling a cup about 1/3 full with chocolate, put in a pb ball and then filled the cup with chocolate. This also looks great if you top it with crushed graham crackers or drizzle with white chocolate!

Autumn Pork Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2012
This is pretty good and even my picky hubby liked it. I did not have any butternut squash on hand, so I used plain 'ole potatoes and it still turned out to be a great easy dinner. Thank you for sharing!

Cheesy Chicken Meatballs

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2011
These are great and super easy! I mixed everything in the food processor and then spooned them onto the baking sheet. These were a bit heavy on Italian seasoning for our taste, but still a great recipe. Thank you for sharing!

Chicken Ranch Pizza with Bacon

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2011
This is great! I admit that I wanted the sauce to taste like Ranch, so I mixed ranch seasoning mix in with the Chicken soup. I think it is 5 stars either way. Thanks for sharing!

Crescent Bacon-Cheddar Pinwheels

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2010
This is great!!! I must admit that I did not have any crescent roll dough on hand, so I made some dinner roll dough in my bread machine, and it worked great! This is such a versatile idea and can be used in many different ways - marinara, pepperoni & mozzarella for pizza pinwheels; bacon, egg and cheese pinwheels, etc. Thanks for the idea!!!

I must confess that I LOVE KC MAsterpiece Honey BBQ sauce and I was out of it and trying to make my own version. My hubby and I agreed that this was a good bbq sauce, but NOT what we were looking for.
