My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up in an area with many different ethnicities. So most events would have combinations of Mexican, Italian, German, Eastern European, and Irish dishes. To me, it is perfectly normal to "mix it up". Christmas dinner with green chilli, stuffed shells and Kielbasa says "home"!
