Golden Wedding Punch

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2010
I did omit the lemon juice and added another can of pineapple juice, plus 46 oz. of water rather than a gallon. Let me tell you, it was gone in 60 seconds! My party guests were raving about it. I will definitely make this again.

PHILLY Hot Crab Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2010
This was awesome! I did tweek it a bit though. I used real lump crab meat, red onions, 2/3 c. Parmesan & Romano cheese blend, Hellmann's mayo and 1/2 c. of shredded Cheddar cheese. I think the real crab meat makes the difference.

Ham, Potato and Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2011
I made this for supper tonight. I did a few things different, though. I used hash browns instead of fries, sliced ham cold cuts, 2 cans of cream of broccoli soup and about 1/2 lb. American cheese. I omitted the mayo and Parmesan cheese. Everyone loved it! I will definitely make this again.

Sweet and Tangy BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2008
I made this recipe today, but I did modify it just a tad. It was very good, but it tasted more like Sloppy Joe sauce than BBQ. Hubby and I still loved it on shredded chicken breasts, though. I'll make it again when I'm in the mood for Sloppy Joes.

Chewy Red Raspberry Squares

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2012
I made this recipe with blueberry preserves a couple days ago....and had a mishap. I mistakingly left out the baking powder... as if that wasn't enough, I baked it too long. Sometimes mistakes can be good. This one sure was! The finished product tasted like scrumptious blueberry granola! We couldn't get enough of this stuff...lol. I will definitely make this again, but next time I will make sure to follow the recipe exactly. This one is a keeper.

Easy Greek Yogurt Cucumber Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2010
I made a varied version of this recipe for my daughter's "Culture Day" at school and it came out well. I used a 5.3 oz. cup of plain Greek yogurt, 1 c. sour cream, omitted the vinegar, lemon juice, onion, garlic and feta cheese and substituted 2 tsp. Mrs. Dash garlic & herb seasoning. I liked the taste and will make it agin.

Mom's Squash Casserole

Reviewed: May 28, 2010
One word....AWESOME! Everyone loved it. My sister said it was cheesy, squashy goodness! *I used seasoned bread crumbs because I didn't have croutons and I sauteed the squash & onions and added a few Tbsp. of water. Next time I make this I'll use more cheese just because I'm a cheese-lover. This recipe is a keeper!

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
I tried this recipe today. I did change a few things...I used Capt. John Derst dinner rolls, almond extract and added pecans along with raisins. And I also used a 9-in. pie pan. (It didn't take the entire 45 min. to bake...about 35 minutes.) It turned out beautifully and it was delicious! I'll be making this again and again. By the way, this is my first time ever making or eating bread pudding. :)
