Cranberry Festive Sparkler

I drink this year round! Use it as a great replacement for drinking regular soda. Healthy, refreshing, and no caffeine.

Curly Noodle Chicken Soup

This is really yummy as is! The noodles can get a little soggy, so I may boil them seperately and add them at then end next time. The kids loved it too!

Ken's Perfect Hard Boiled Egg (And I Mean Perfect)

They do peel easily. However, 4 out of 12 cracked upon entering the hot water. Will go back to the old tried and true method.

I followed this to the letter and it was a mess! It never got completely smooth. When I kneaded it it would be almost smooth and then turn very sticky again sticking to the countertop and my hands. I added more sugar and the same thing would happen. NOt sure what we did wrong with this but will not be using this again! Rolled buttercream fondant from this site is better, although that one is quite greasy. Will keep searching for the perfect fondant recipe!!

Mall Pretzels

These are GREAT! I only had all purpose flour and they were fine. Definitely use parchment paper though, or they will stick! Very tasy with salt or cinnamon and sugar too. My kids gobbled these up!

Pork Steaks

This had good flavor except it was WAY too salty! Maybe if it was made with unsalted butter it would have made a difference, but for us it was too salty. Good underlying flavor though!

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

Super yummy!! I used whole milk and they tasted like restaurant potatoes! The restaurants probably use heavy cream, these are very close! Will add to favorites box!

Thai Shrimp and Noodles

This was great! Followed the recipe as is except we used vermicelli pasta instead of angel hair. Very flavorful with just a little kick. A new one for the "keeper" box!

Rhubarb Custard Pie I

This pie had a very good flavor, but the bottom was like soup! Runny and soggy bottom crust. I made this for my mother in law for her birthday. She loved it though. We ended up cutting it up and spooning the unplanned "sauce" over it. It wasn't very attractive but tasted great! Not sure what I did wrong, I followed the recipe exactly.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

This was delicious! I used a whole chicken, cut up and skinned it. Followed it exactly the rest of the way and it was great. Even the white meat was juicy and the kids loved it!

Spicy Shredded Beef

This is a great recipe! I have served it to company many times and everyone loves it. I made a 3 pound roast and used two cans of tomatoes and doubled the other ingredients and it was just right. I never had to add water to it either, it didn't dry out!

Garlic Red Potatoes

This was an excellent and quick way to serve yummy red potatoes. We had it as a side for orange roughy and it was delicious, especially with the hint of lemon flavor.

Broccoli, Pepperoni and Three Cheese Calzones

This was a very tasty calzone, although it was a bit time consuming. Worth the time though for the delicious homemade dough crust! We had it with spaghetti sauce on top, although it would be good plain too!
