Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2002
These are so addictive! Time consuming, yes, but so worth the wait. Don't wait until they cool to try one! Just make sure you completely cover the caramel with the cookie dough, otherwise you have a huge mess on your baking sheet.

Building Gingerbread

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2002
The icing was fantastic, but the gingerbread wasn't. I rolled it thicker than suggested, and it burned on the edges after 8 minutes.

Pasta Carcione

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2001
So good, although I had trouble "crumbling" the goat cheese.

Deep Dish Layered Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2001
I added quite a bit more curry powder than called for, for some extra kick. The salad was very unusual, but really good.

Roast Chicken with Rosemary

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2001
This recipe makes the house smell so good, and everyone was so impressed with how moist the chicken turned out. And the juices make a fabulous gravy.

Basic Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2001
Yay! First cheesecake I have ever baked that worked. It got rave reviews too. There is a fine line between being done and overdoing where it cracks, but it still tastes fabulous!

Perogies

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2001
I used this recipe only for the dough, and added some fresh cracked pepper for a little flavour. Make sure you keep the dough thick enough, or they all fall apart when boiled!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: May 28, 2001
Oh, wow! These were awesome. The only problem is that my husband is a frosting lover, and the recipe only made enough for 6 of his cinnamon rolls. I will definitely make again!

Wrapped Salmon

Excellent! I'm not a huge fan of dijon, but it tastes great like this! So easy, too! You can make them ahead of time, freeze them, and just pop them in the oven. It was a huge hit with my husband, who is a seafood lover.

Cream of Chicken with Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2001
The soup was really good, although I thought it could use some extra spices or flavouring, but I haven't decided which ones. Very easy, but time consuming. Also, I used turkey instead of chicken, because my husband doesn't eat chicken, and it still turned out well.
