Black Beans with Bacon

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2010
These were very good. I usually don't like bacon on my food but decided to give this recipe a try. All I can say is that it was delicious. I decided as previously suggested to use a can of black beans. Will definelty continue making this recipe. The only thing I did differently is fry the bacon first to make it crispy then I added the veggies. Yummo!!

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
This soup was surprisingly very good. I did a serving of 15 and came out to be a whole lot of soup. I added one and a half packets of the onion soup and tomato flavored bouillon. I also added fresh green beans. I will continue to make this soup. I substituted for two meals and ate it every two to three hours for 5 days and lost five pounds. It is very good. Highly recommended if you want to lose a few pounds fast..

Colorful Vegetable Saute

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
This recipe was really good actually. Very nice and colorful with good flavor. I did not add the red cabbage because I did not have any. Instead I used red onion. For regular salt I substituted with a teaspoon of garlic salt and did not add the water because I thought the cider vinegar was enough. I will do this recipe again. It was very tasty.

Quick and Spicy Chili

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2008
This chili is really good. I have never done chili before and Hubby liked it. I did not add the habanero peppers because they are toooo hot and I did not have flour but added cornstarch later realizing it that I shouldn't of have used it because it was so thick so i ended putting another cup of water to it. Besides that Thanks for this recipes it's a keeper.

Fabulous Wet Burritos

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2009
These burritos were great. I put them in the oven instead of the micro. They were delicious. The only thing is that I followed the suggested of others and did not add the tomato soup...

This chili is so-so. I am not sure if I will make again. It has a lot of ingredients and takes a long time to prepare. If time is on your side then try it.

Malaysian Chinese Style Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2008
I thought this recipes was alright. I thought the sauce was way to salty. Maybe using low-sodium soy sauce. Hubby didn't like it at all. I served him a plate and he didn't eat it. He made himself a micrave dinner instead. He said it was too dry and I added a bit of water as stated. I will not do it again. =/

Campbell's Skillet Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2008
Chicken Parmesan was okay. I added granulated and garlic salt (just because I love garlic) to chicken while cooking so it can a little bit of flavor. Other than that it was quick and easy.

Grilled Chicken Breast with Cucumber and Pepper Relish

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2008
This recipe is a bit bland I double the cumin and chili but it didn't work for me. I added a bit of garlic salt to give it a little more flavor. For the relish I added a bit of cider vinegar and it was fairly okay. I am not sure if I will this again.

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice I

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
I kind of liked this rice but my husband liked it a lot. It was a bit bland so I put a bit of garlic salt a little more soy sauce than stated. I should have waited for the rice to cool off more because it came out a little mushy. I will do this recipe again but next time I'll use the boil in a bag white rice just because it comes out fluffier and doesn't not stick too much.

Eileen's Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2008
This meatloaf was pretty good except I tweaked it up a bit. I added a bit of milk and onions. I did not have sour cream so I skipped that. I made my topping with ketchup, worchestire sauce, brown sugar, and mustard. Sweet and yummy.
