White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
This was very good...I made it today, I used chicken breast which I baked earlier with a little salt, pepper, and a bit of lemon juice, it was very moist, and the broth it made was very good, so I used that broth for my sauce...I also used fresh spinach, which I threw in with my onions & garlic when they were almost done....hubby even threw in some chopped cilantro coz we didn't have fresh parsley...I also used cottage cheese instead of ricotta coz that's all I had on hand, but I added an egg, parmesan cheese and a bit of the cilantro in....the sauce was soooo rich & creamy, very decadent, hubby loved it, in fact he was dipping a few pieces of chicken in the sauce as I was putting it together...I am SOOO glad Ifound & tried this recipe instead of some of the others on the site, it took a bit longer, but I didn't want an alfredo sauce w/either cream of chicken or mushroom soup...very rich & fattening, but very good, and worth all the effort...we served it w/a nice salad and garlic bread...will be making again for special occasions...

Turkey Stuffing Roll-Ups

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2009
We tried this last night and it was VERY good!!! I sauteed celery & onions in some butter, and added to box stuffing, to give it a bit more homemade taste...I aslo made mashed potatoes, and placed in bottom of baking dish, then placed my turkey rolls on top, and the little extra stuffing around rolls, topped w/home made gravy...and baked...my only disappointment is that I forgot the onion rings, but that was my fault...I will make this again & again

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2008
I made this last night, it was the first time I ever made this and it turned out great!!! Not a bite left. Everyone loved it. It was so easy and so good!! I of course checked out the reviews before trying, and got some good suggestions. After pounding chicken, I dipped chicken in egg wash, put bread crumbs on a plate and laid chicken on top, then put cheese and ham on top, and simply rolled it up. No hassle and not much mess. I forgot to get toothpicks, so just put on baking sheet seam side down, and they didn't unroll. I put swiss cheese on top last 5 mins of baking, and while cooling, made a cream sauce with cream of chicken soup about 1 cup of sour cream, I didn't have any lemon juice, so I seasoned with a bit of lemon pepper seasoning. We served with brown rice, and steamed broccoli...Yum!!! Great success!!!

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2008
Excellent lasagna!!! I used a recipe similar to this for years. I made this last night with the intention of refigerating it and baking it today, but my family had other plans and didn't want to wait, so we baked it last night, and it was a very big hit!!! Tastes even better next day...Great recipe, served with cesar salad, and garlic cheese bread, mmmm mmmm...Will definately make again.

Breakfast Casserole III

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
Very good!!! I read several reviews, and followed recommendation of using hash brown potatoes...they worked very good...I also used 1/2 lb sage sausage, and 1/2 lb maple sausage, because that's all I had on hand...I was a bit worried about the flavors, but it worked out just fine...I will definately make this again, only next time I think I'll use a red or green pepper to add a bit more color...

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
We just made this, and everyone loved it!!! I followed the recommendation of turning out of pan as soon as it came out of the oven..very nice... i used a tube pan, with a pizza pan under it, (I saw the post about the brown sugar & butter dripping on oven and racks...will definately use either cake pan or bundt pan next time. I also added a bit of nutmeg in the cinnamon sugar mixture...We will definately use this recipe again. Next time will try adding apples and pecans, instead of raisins and pecans.

Spaghetti Italian

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
This is very similar to the spaghetti recipe I use. The only difference is I use 1 lb of ground beef along w/the Italian sausage, and I don't use bay leaves...and I add some sugar to cut the acidity of the tomato sauce....very good recipe!! Definately a keeper

Glazed Meatloaf II

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2008
One of the best meatloaf recipes, I've tried...even my son 9who doesn't like meatloaf) liked it and asked for seconds!! I added 1 lb sausage to the hamburger, and it turned out very good. Also, I didn't have any dry mustard, so used just a touch of yellow mustard for the sauce....had to double the sauce to use for dipping! btw the glaze sauce also makes a good dipping sauce for chicken and pork chops
