Ok, I am curious about the green onions in the glass vase w/rocks. Do you grow them like that? Or are you just making an arrangement? Did you start with onion sets in the jar?

I've started growing them like that. Its been about a month and they are still looking pretty good. I just bought a package of green onions from the store and stuck them in with cleaned rocks and water.

Me too, it makes a really pretty arrangement! Can you smell the green onion smell though?

I just googled about your spaghetti squash - interesting, others have had the same thing happen. Read quite a ways down on this blog . . . http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/737904/

I have always loved your photos. The little Sleeping Flower is gorgeous!! Great shots. Sure would like to know if those green onions have the oniony aroma in that beautiful arrangement.

Great pics and as always, admire your gardening talent. Can't wait to see what you will grow in Hawaii. Anyhow, regarding the green onions, are you cutting the tops to use as they grow?

I can't smell the green onions in the arrangement. Yes, I do cut the tops to use as they grow and cut them every now and then when they get too leggy.

I'm late seeing this, but I love your garden pics - thanks for posting! I'm always going to take more garden shots. I did take a few the other day. Maybe I'll actually post them...
