About this Cook
I'm a stay at home mom and a mother of 2 beautiful kids. I appreciate life so much more after being given 8 months to live 3 years ago. i am currently on the transplant list waiting patiently.i feel so fortunate and blessed that i am still here to spend more time with my family.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook but especially love baking anything with yeast. I'm obsessed.. I like to come on AR and find new bread recipes to try. I also like to adapt bread machine recipes to use with my kitchenaid or make by hand.
My favorite family cooking traditions
big sunday dinners and i like starting new traditions with my kids to pass on when they have their own children.
My cooking triumphs
winning 3rd place at the san diego fair with one of my yeast breads. it was my first year entering so i was pretty excited. It was on my bucket list this year along with bungee jumping, i did both woo hoo!I dont know why but i feel so calm and happy while i'm making bread. When i'm feeling a little down i just go in the kitchen and bake bake bake. i just love it.
My cooking tragedies
fish stir fry. uugghh frightening.i messed it up pretty bad

Panettone Loaves
great recipe. i baked mine in a 7x3 coffee can and the rest in little panettone molds that i purchase from amazon. you get a bunch for around 8 bucks. They make for a nice presentation. i also added a tsp of salt.
