Wife of a retired solider. Love cats. I have two. I would have more, but my husband would not be happy, and one of us would have to move out LOL. Raising beagles, mom, dad and their one baby i kept from their litter last year. A daughter in college. Work part time.

Thanksgiving, having fried turkey, and my daughters favorite pineapple ham, homemade pies. I make alot, always to many dishes. Have lots of leftovers. Homemade rolls.

My cooking tragedies
some kind of greek cassarole recipe that was in a magazine. The picture looked wonderful! It was made with hamburger and I cant remember what else. But it did have 1/2 tsp or 1/2 tbls of cinnamon. Hamburger and cinnamon do not mix. The dog didn't eat it. Think we had sandwiches that night.

Strawberry Pineapple Bread
making it now...had all the stuff on hand simple to make, smells heavenly. I'm going to sprinkle the top with sugar. I used a blend of frozen and fresh strawberries, other than that...ok, i didn't have nuts...but other than that i made it the same way, very good

Parmesan Crusted Tilapia Fillets
To think i was buying these pre-made. This was sooo much better. The only extra spice i added was some chives and a touch of bread crumbs, I baked it on 400 like stated turning one time, they stayed crispy! will make over and over!

Chef John's Buttermilk Biscuits
very good. had all the items on hand, except the i made my own with a bit of vinegar. I brushed my biscuits with melted butter though. It did make 12 biscuits, wish i had made maybe 9 so they would be a bit thicker. They were very good, i will make these again and use this is my "go to" recipe i will just make less biscuits! :)
