Tomato Spinach and Basil Soup

This recipe reminds me of a recipe I used to make for my children. I would saute celery and carrots with the onions, add the tomato and then pureed all of this until smooth. I love this new recipe because it has spinach! I used frozen spinach that I thawed and pressed the water out of. I added cayenne and less sugar as well as chicken stock instead of milk. I served with bacon, cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese for anyone who wanted those added. Very good!

Chili-Lime Chicken Kabobs

This is an awesome recipe! I marinated the chicken breasts for 15 minutes and then broiled them. hey were so juicy and spicy. I served this with mexican rice. what a hit!

Chili Steak Stir-Fry

I used venison steak instead of steak.I also skipped the flour dredging part. For the sauce I used sweet chili sauce instead of sugar and red pepper flakes and ground ginger as I did not have gingeroot. I served it with thai rice noodles. The heat in this dish was great! I loved it!

Hot Cheesy Spinach Dip

This was very good for my first attempt at making a spinach dip. I cut the wine in half as I put it in a small crockpot instead of the oven. I also used 1 cup sour cream and 1/4 cup mayo. I think this would be good with cream cheese also.

Greek Feta And Olive Spread

I used kalamata olives also, and as the mixture was thick, I added a drizzle of olive oil and a little more lemon juice. Yum! this is a winner

Lentil and Sausage Soup
