Brussels Sprouts in a Sherry Bacon Cream Sauce

What an amazing recipe!! I didn't have time to soak the Brussel Sprouts in salt water, and they still came out amazing!! Sauce was delicious. Note: the tablespoon of salt is ONLYi if you aren't going to soak them in salt water. I'm going to add that sauce to chicken, fish and other recipes too! Oh, and I used turkey bacon the second time I made it and it was just as good but a little bit healthier and less greasy.

Penne with Chicken and Asparagus

I really enjoyed this dish, and follwed the suggestion to saute 1/2 an onion, chopped, after cooking the chicken and adding the broth right to the onion. I thought it lacked a little in flavor, but by adding extra parmesan cheese, you can make up for this. Very light and delicious!

Garlic Broccoli Spears

This lemon-garlic sauce was excellent. I also tried drizzling it on asparagus before cooking in the over and I thought it had a wonderful taste as well. I also added a pinch of brown sugar to the mix just to sweeten it a bit.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Absolutely fantastic! I recommend using half butter and half olive oil, as well as Pinot Grigio for the dry white wine. Also, I wrapped the cheese inside the ham and then rolling the breasts versus folding them and the cheese did not leak out. I used Kitchen Twine to tie the breasts, and it was very easy to cut the string before I served them. I made this for my relatives and everyone practically licked their plate clean! This recipe is a must!

Corn and Crab Bisque

This recipe was very easy to follow and sooo tasty, my guests all had second helpings! I made a few modifications - for thickening I used heavy cream instead of half and half and added a litte extra, as well as 2 extra tablespoons of flour. I also omitted the cajun seasoning and cayenne pepper and instead added 1.5 teaspoons of Old Bay spice. Tasted great and with lots of flavor!
