Cheese Puffs (Gougeres)

I used pepper jack cheese instead of the Gruyere cheese to make them kind of spicy. I thought the recipe was easy to follow and made delicious puffs!

Sausage Hash

I left out the carrots, added three cloves of garlic, and put in some Worcestershire sauce. The flavor was SO good. I would definitely make this again. We love breakfast for dinner!

Fennel Risotto

This was delicious. The flavor had a slight sweet taste (thank you fennel!) but wasn't extremely overpowering. It was creamy and wonderful. YUM! I made it for Christmas dinner alongside fennel roast rabbit and lemon basil carrots!

Glazed Meatloaf II

I had never made meatloaf before. This was an easy and delicious loaf, very moist but still held together. I never have been a big meatloaf fan, but I would definitely make this again.,

One Dish Chicken Noodles

The dish was a little bland, so I made sure to add enough pepper as well as sauteed some garlic with the chicken to add some flavor! It tasted like a hearty chicken soup, without all the liquid.

Mango Chicken Curry

Spinach Chicken Parmesan

I feel like this dish could have used some seasonings. I like the general idea of it, but it was just bland. I should have considered that when I was making it, but since I rarely salt things anyway, I didn't even consider it. It definitely needed both salt and pepper an even some garlic.

Butter Bean Burgers

Sun-Dried Tomato, Feta and Pine Nut Salad

This is seriously such a simple and tasty salad. I served it alongside Basil Feta Bruschetta and Puttanesca. The flavors all went together so perfectly. I topped the salad with some oil, vinegar, and a tiny bit of salt. It was great!

Peppermint Fudge Pie

Based on the other review, I didn't add the extra marshmallows in at the second step. The texture of the pie was nice and creamy and tasted just like Christmas! It made for a simple and yjmmy holiday dessert.

Bacon-y Bok Choy

This was absolutely delicious. I served it over a bed of rice with some soy sauce. The salt of the bacon and the heat of the red pepper flakes tasted so good with the crunch of the bok choy. This is a keeper for sure!

Sweet and Spicy Curry with Chickpeas

This was a delicious recipe. I served it over curried sweet potatoes. The flavors of the two dishes melded together wonderfully. The only change I made was that instead of the sweet chili sauce, I used garlic chili sauce (and much less of it). The meal was great the first day, but even better as leftovers as the flavors had more time to meld together.

Ten Minute Szechuan Chicken

For not salting this dish at all and using low-sodium soy sauce, I still found it too salty. It definitely needed something to offset the salty of the soy sauce.
