Plain Cake Doughnuts
I have never made donuts before but thought this recipe was super easy and very good. Like some other reviewers, we added flour when rolling out and punched up the spices a little bit. They were light (for cake doughnuts) and crispy and not a bit greasy. We added a simple glaze with powdered sugar and milk, but they were equally good without it.
