Apple Crisp III

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2008
great base! Here are the changes that I made to this recipe. I only had red delicious apples so I tossed them with brown sugar and 3 tbs lemon juice, doubled the reicipe and used a portion of the topping as a dough bottom. I only had margerine so I had to use way more flour to get it to crumble. I used whipping cream in place of the water for a creamier texture. AWSOME with those changes.

Asparagus with Pecans and Parm

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2008
We skipped the pecans as we are not nut people, and everyone, even my 8 year old loved it. Fresh parm is really the key here.

Golden Crescent Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2008
This was my first attempt at making bread and it was pretty easy! I made the dough and then rolled cocktail smokies, bacin and cheddar cheese inside and baked. YUMMY. I think out of the 2.5 dozen I made there was only 2 left! We will make this bread again, next time in a garlic form for spaghetti. On a side note, some have said that these are not as 'light and flaky' as they were expecting, crescent rolls are not supposed to be light and flaky, they are not croissants but more like a diner roll.

Pan-Fried Asparagus

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
I used to HATE asparagus, but after I prepared it this way for my husband I will now eat it more often. This is a really good recipe, even my young boys ate it and would've had more had there been any!! (We added parmasan cheese as per other reeviews...yumm)

I made these and you really have to watch the cooking time otherwise they go hard awfully fast. My friend had one and said they were really good. I will make again.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
These cookies were really good, we omitted the nuts and added a little coconut, and refridgerated the dough as suggested in other reviews. Next time I make them all my husband suggested would be to add a some apple bits into the dough...should be good. Thanks for this one.

Creamy Chicken and Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2008
Good base for a recipe but here are the changes that we made as it was rather bland. We added 2 sachets of chicken boullion, about 1/2 tablespoon oregano and 1/2 a tablespoon basil. With those changes it was great and we will definitely make it again.
