Congrats, it isn't easy to buy a house, especially as a single mom! Be proud and enjoy your new home! And don't rush the renos, just take it one step at a time, and know that you are doing something great for you and Oliver!

Congrats on homeownership, Pink Pancakes! Love the patio and yard! Don't worry about the orange bedroom (I actually think it's kinda cool, but I can see that *living* with it might be tough); my house had green and blue shag carpeting and gray paneling when I bought it. That kind of thing can be fixed relatively cheaply and it will soon feel like home. Yay for you! :)

Hello, I know you are so excited! How is Oliver sleeping now, I remember awhile back he was having a 2am play fest. I remember because I have a 10 mos grandson who had done the exact same thing to my daughter in law. Oliver is precious.

Congratulations! Your own home is such a sweet, humbling, and scary experience. Have a wonderful time each and every day with your young son. Take pics each step of the way: painting, goofing off in the backyard, him next to the same stuffed animal once a month. Priceless memories!
