I make my own recipes. I like cooking everything. I also love baking. Now cleaning up afterwards is a different story.
My favorite things to cook
Some of my favorites are chocolate chip caramel cookies, my beef and potato stew, chicken dishes, and many other recipes that friends and I have worked on.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We don't really have any traditions.
My cooking triumphs
I have come up with a lot of delicious recipes. They turned out really well. When I first started cooking, I could barely fry an egg. When I was in school, there used to be a lot of food days where students brought in different foods. I brought in my chocolate chip caramel cookies. They were gone in the first 15 minutes. After that, people would beg me to bring them to the next food day.
My cooking tragedies
Too many. Ha. My first baking attempt was when I was only 8. I had managed to slip by the ever watchful eye of my father. I didn't know not to put plastic in an oven. Well my cake and bowl melted in the oven. While cleaning my dad sampled my mess.
One time while here with my roommate, I wanted to try and make a new recipe. It was a steak sauce/rub. I accidentally added too much salt. It was fine until after it was cooked into the meat. It was so salty that our dog wouldn't even touch it. I couldn't stop laughing.
