Campbell's® Slow-Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
Like other reviewers suggested, I added one chicken bouillon cube and peas, as well as mushrooms. The dumplings take at least 45 minutes--even if you spread them out. Tasty though!!

Cheesy Zucchini Casserole I

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2007
SO-SO easy and delicious! A great way to use all that extra zucchini. I took the tips of other reviewers and toasted the bread first (thicker bread that can be cubed works best, in my opinion). Also, the thought of baking this for an hour in the summer heat didn't appeal to me, so I pre-cooked zucchini and onion in a saute pan for about 15-20 minutes before I put it in the oven, uncovered, for another 20 minutes.

Oatmeal Pancake

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2006
This is so easy and tastes great. I doubled all of the ingredients, but only had 4 egg whites this morning. They still came out fine.

No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: May 20, 2005
I made THREE batches and they all turned out gooey. The first time, I followed the recipe exactly. Then, I did it again, allowing it to boil 2 minutes from the rapid boil. Then...I tried again and let it boil 3.5 minutes. STILL gooey. They taste fine, but they can't be picked up like a cookie. :(

No Time to Cook Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2005
I think 7-8 hours was a little too long to cook the chicken. Once the pot was stirred, it all become mush. Flavor was okay (I seasoned chicken with garlic salt, pepper and paprika), but texture was not appetizing. Maybe I would try again for a shorter amount of time.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2005
I always seem to mess up chocolate chip cookies, but this one worked out perfectly. Do everything by hand, and don't attempt to leave out the extra egg yolk. I took others' suggestions and took the cookies out before they looked done--in my oven, about 13 minutes. I've done milk chocolate chips mixed with semi-sweet, and even subbed mini chocolate chips and andes mint baking pieces for a different twist.

Baked Whole Cauliflower

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2004
I have to agree with some of the others that this is a bit salty. Also, the dish was a drier than I had expected but I added a few slices of provolone on top, and it helped somewhat. Will try again, but with no add'l salt and will either dot the cauliflower with a little butter or drizzle with olive oil to make the florets less dry.

Brown Sugar Biscuits

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2003
From some of the other reviews, it sounded like they were expecting your traditional cinnamon rolls (the kind that requires yeast). These are not like that at all, and what I got are more like what the name suggests: brown sugar and cinnamon biscuits (contrary to what the author of the recipe claims). They have the flaky consistency of biscuits but with a sweet twist. Still very tasty though, and so quick and easy if you're craving cinnamon rolls but don't have all the time needed for it...

Peppy's Pita Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2002
Great, tasty and EASY recipe. Next time I might add a bit more salt, and I would also experiment by adding herbs or even dried onion or in the dough for some extra kick.
