Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

I made exactly as written with out changes. The top was too "cakey". I didn't care for this. Thanks for sharing.

French Bean Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2012
This was ok but I found it lacking in flavor. I added a little more ranch dressing to try boost the flavor. It was a quick side dish for last night's dinner and it is easy but I probably will not make again.

Bellyful of Barbecued Bananas

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2012
Sorry this was a flop at our housey. I did use aluminum foil to cut down on the mess and it smelled good but no one cared for soggy mushy bananas and my teenager said it was just 'wrong'.

Old Settlers' Baked Beans

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2012
I have made these twice now. The first time as written and I found them overly sweet but my family raved. The second time I omitted the white sugar and found them to be perfectly sweet and savory and my family still raved..so this is now our go to recipe for beans. They are so good there is no need to go to the trouble of soaking dry beans and doing all that work. People will think that you did a lot of work to make these beans they are that good.

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2012
Very good! Quick easy and inexpensive. I heated a cast iron skillet and browned the 'steaks' not cooking them the whole way through. Then I layered them in a baking dish. I added 1 can of cream of mushroom to the 'gravy' and poured the over the top. Baked them in the oven for about 25 minutes.

Amazingly good! I did sprinkle panko bread crumbs on the top and bake in the oven like one review suggested. I put it in the crock pot to keep warm for serving. Rave reviews and and an empty dish at the office Christmas party! Thanks!
