I've been baking bread for over 40 yrs but never have baked a simple white bread. This is the best tasting white bread. Hands down, the easiest recipe to make. My husband nor I found this bread too sweet. The only thing that differed from the instructions was the 2nd rising. It took a little over an hour for the bread to rise 1" over the pan. They baked beautifully but stuck to the pans which were well oiled. I believe it's because I baked them in Corning Ware loaf pans. I'll try (as others have suggested)several different ways to use this wonderful bread recipe: half honey wheat,dinner rolls,cinnamon raisin. Thanks Peg for a GREAT reicpe!!
