Dutch Letter Cookies
The flavor of the filling is just like the ones from the bakery in Pella, Ia. I used Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry instead of making dough. It was a lot easier than the first time I tried to make these. I did have alot filling left over and there is not enough filling in the actual cookie when I cut the dough to 1 1/2 inches like recipe says. Next time I will be cutting dough 2 to 2 1/2 inches so that there is room for more filling. Otherwise, these are amazing!

Corn Fritters
VERY GOOD! I added extra sugar, used melted butter instead of shortening and cut back on the corn slightly, and they were delicious! We made these the first time for a school project. The batter was easy enough for a 10 year old to make. I did the frying of course, however next time I will make them in a shallow skillit with oil instead of using a deep fryer. I think the batter will stay together better that way.

Sugar Cookie Frosting
The recipe is awesome! I've a frosting for cookies thats not to sweet like the typical powdered sugar and corn syrup, but something that wasn't as think and heavy as buttercream icing. This is it! Tastes fantastic, but not to sweet and not to heavy. I added a little corn syrup to it though which helps it crust over for easier stacking.
