Oregano Chicken

Really good and easy to make. I follow the recipe, but don't cook it as long as it says. My oven is hot and it would be overcooked

Southwestern Turkey Salad

Pretty good--but the type of salsa you use makes all the difference. The fresher the salsa the better.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

I used lean ground beef and it was still very good. I use less chili mix than it calls for because its too salty. I substituted with a little bit of chili powder and cumin. I also used garlic powder instead of garlic salt to cut down on the salt. Also good in the crock pot, just brown the meat first.

Very good and a huge hit at work! Although it's high in fat, there are ways to cut calories.

Chocolate Oatmeal Cake

Great cake! I brought some to work and everyone liked it. It's very moist and so easy to make! It could be topped with whipped cream, fruit or frosting if you'd like. I don't think it needs anything.

Tuna and Red Pepper Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2001
Very good and easy to take as a lunch because it doesn't need refrigeration. However, there's not enough tuna in recipe--it could easily be doubled or tripled. If you do this, do not add the salt because canned tuna already is salty. I've also used cubed, cooked chicken breasts, which also is excellent.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2001
Excellent meal! I used turkey breasts instead of chicken and it was still good. I will definitely make this again. It was easy because I didn't have to buy and special ingredients--I had everything in my kitchen already.
