What a great combination. Applie pie and Apple Crisp. Or at least that is the way I looked at it. I made two pies. One as stated in the recipe. The second I added oats to the crumble mix. I preferred it with the oats. Thereby, combining two of my favorite deserts. Apple Pie and Apple Crisp.

The Best Meatloaf

Even though I forgot to add the egg to the mix. This meatloaf turned out great. I added fresh pressed garlic. Also the BBQ sauce I used was "Bullseye - Guinnes" infused sauce. My wife has requested this to be done again. So that is the true testament of the reciepe itself.

Beef Barley Soup

Made this soup for the first time tonight. I found it exceptional. However, my wife found the amount of pepper a little too hot for her personal liking. Therefore, next time which will be very soon. I will decrease the amount of pepper slightly. I did however use whole peppercorns which I put into my mortal and pestle, along with the salt oregano and basil.

Lemon Pepper Dill Fish

Tried this recipe last night. Both my wife and I, found it to be really good. I used Cod fillets. Next time going to try Haddock. Hard to get any simpler on cooking directions.

Apple Crisp IV

Made thie Apple Crisp using HoneyCrisp apples. Although the crisp was really good. I found the aplles a little on the dry side. Therefore, going to try this again using different apples.

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

This was a very simple and delicious recipe to prepare. In order to save some time, I used a store bought roasted chicken. I have never been to keen on the Cream of Mushroom soup. Therefore, I think next time. I will simply use two cans of Cream of Chicken soup. My wife, really enjoyed it, with the Mushroom soup. I will tinker with this recipe and report back.

Potato Leek Soup III

It's been quite some time, since I last had a good serving of Leek and Potato soup. This recipe, was very simple and quick to prepare. Once done. It was simply delicious. Looking forward to the leftovers tomorrow.
