Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2010
DELICIOUS! I followed the recipe for the most part. I used chicken broth in place of water and bouillion. It was fabulous!

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2010
This was wonderful. I added asparagus like another reviewer suggested. I also increased the tomatoes to 2 cans, diced the chicken and added about a cup of parmasean cheese to thicken the sauce and add some cheesy goodness. I will definitely make this again.

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
This was delicious! I followed others instructions cooking it at 350 for 15 minutes and then reducing heat to 300 and cooking for 50-55 minutes. It beat any pecan pie I have ever had!

Whole Wheat Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
This is a great pancake recipe. As others have said, the batter was too thin for us so, we added more flour and more wheat germ until it came to the consistency with which we were comfortable. I would say we added about a cup altogether. This is the only way we make pancakes now!

Anaheim Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
This was really good. The sauce you cook the fish in, we found is an excellent sauce for chicken as well. We thickened the sauce and served it with the fish or chicken and it has been great. We love the flavor of the sauce.... and we use it often.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
These were amazing. My hubby is a red meat freak and he is leary of "turkey" anything. But he ate these up and asked when we could have them again. We added soy sauce and lots of worcestershire and some montreal steak seasoning. We will definitely make these again.

Baked Soy Lemon Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
Really good flavor. I was leery about using this much soy sauce, so I marinated about 50 minutes and then poured most of the marinade off (save 2-3 tablespoons) I also cooked for 25 minutes and the chops came out juicy and tender and with the perfect amount of flavor... We will definitely make this again.

Halibut Steaks

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2008
My family loved this recipe! We used orange roughy instead of halibut (we had it one hand) and the orange roughy gave the dish a buttery broth. It was fantastic.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2008
This was amazing! As others suggested I added some zucchini and fresh tomato and only one can of black beans. This is by far the best way I have had quinoa.

Barley Mushroom Risotto

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
My husband, who procaims to hate barley, loved this recipe. So much so, that he asked if he could take the leftovers for his lunch the next day. I call that a winner.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2008
Really great cinnamon rolls. I am not a fan of the cream cheese frosting, so I will find a different frosting for them... but the rolls were wonderful and EASY!

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2008
Delicious! My husband, who HATES fish, absolutely loved it prepared this way. I changed it a bit by adding more minced garlic and no garlic salt (we figured the soy sauce had enough) and it was great. Awesome! Easy! I will definitely make this again!

Chicken Tortilla Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2008
We love this recipe. We have made it several times and there are a couple of things we do differently. Like many others, we saute the chicken in olive oil and the garlic and onion, but before we add any of the other ingredients we add the oregano and chili pepper to the chicken mixture and let that cook for about a minute. We have found this really awakens the flavors of both spices. But this is such a wonderful and easy recipe that anyone can make it.
