Followed recipe exactly. Found it to be VERY bland and tasteless :( Might try it again in the future with my own additions and changes

Spinach and Strawberry Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2011
I made this exactly as posted. However the dressing was horrible. The sugar was WAY too much and it wouldn't mix or dissolve whatsoever. I ended up remaking it myself. The listed recipe was useless and gets 2 stars. I was almost out of the white wine vinegar however so I used half white wine vinegar, half white cooking wine. I also used agave nectar instead of the sugar. Didn't measure it out just added it, tried it then added a bit more. MY version of the dressing was great and everyone loved it!

Fish in Foil

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
I love this recipe! Very basic but sooo good. Even my kid has seconds and requests it two nights in a row! I used trout the first time and was good, but trout can be pricey so I've done it with tilapia since and it is fantastic!

Honey Cornbread

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
these were pretty ok, but still a bit dry. In the future I think I will let the cornmeal soak up the milk or cream for a bit first. And possibly trying to double the honey, I could barely taste it. these did go good with pumpkin creamcheese though :)

Pumpkin Muffins II

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2010
these were edible but that was about it. Too much spices following the recipes exactly left all of us with numb tongues! Honestly could not taste the pumpkin at all once cooked, and I even added a bit more then listed. Was def. disappointed with these :(

Salt and Vinegar Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2007
My hubby and I love apple cider vinegar to the point that he drinks it straight sometimes! I decided to look up some recipes and came across this one. I was never a big chicken baker but WOWWW!! I LOVE this recipe! I use to refuse to cook any sort of chicken still on the bone but this recipe made it so easy and it coooked perfectly! I use tinfoil over the top of it until 10 minutes before then I remove the tinfoil, sprinkle with a tiny bit of montreal seasoning. At the end, I pop it under the broiler for just a few seconds to make the tops crispy and good and its great! I always serve it over rice and use the extra marinated to make a quick super vinegarry gravey

Was easy for me to do, even under the strain of a first date ;) and it came out DELICIOUS even I loved it! I use this for any special occasion now. Its so good and so easy! I served it with some freshly sauteed up green beans and sliced almonds in peanut oil. was great!

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2007
i tried the modified version and unmodified. both were MUCH too sweet. the first bath came out eh...too sweet and the kisses melted completly & never rehardened. the cookies hardened in both cases, and no matter how clsoely i watched, they were always burnt on the bottom, even after turning down the stove. Not happy with these at all
