I would have given this 10 stars, and I'm not a fan of soups or mexican flavors. I did leave out the cilantro and tortilla chips. It needed more salt so I added another 1/2 teaspoon. Served with a side of corn bread. I also thought that 1 lb. of shredded chicken was not enough so I boiled a cut-up whole chicken in water with 3 stalks of celery, cut up carrots and an onion cut in half w/1 tablespoon of whole peppercorns. Boiled it for about 2 hours or until the meat was falling off the bone. Let it cool, discard veggies, shred. Makes for a very hearty meal.
