Vanilla Glaze
I'm afraid this review is a broken record: I increased milk to Tbsps instead of tsps, added the 1Tbsp corn syrup, and played with the sugar until it reached the desired consistency. Excellent all-purpose glaze!

Fresh Apple Cake
Without qualification , BEST apple cake I've ever had. I used 1cup canola oil and 1/4 cup applesauce. Baked in 10"tube for 70 min. Used the walnuts and raisins too. And fellow bakers , if you can peel, core, and chop apples, measure and mix the ingredients into a home-made-with-love cake --- PLEASE spend a few minutes making a glaze! No canned icing. I used the simple cream cheese icing another reviewer cited , and it was perfect. (4oz cr cheese , 2 C xx sugar, 1T milk, 1tsp vanilla --mixed and microwaved to glaze consistency ). My only change was to add a couple tsps is corn syrup for a nice glossy finish.

Cheesecake Supreme
Like others , I followed the basic suggestions of Heislord5-- 3hrs at 200F , 2 hrs with oven cracked and a water bath in the rack beneath. I used a 10" springform and followed the BRILLIANT suggestion of a reviewer to place a greased cake circle ( foiled ) in the bottom ! Genius ! Cake was smooth , , not a crack to be found. I garnered a lot of praise , , and gave AR all the credit. Worth the time.
