Boston Baked Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2014
Easy enough to make and it tasted great, although I didn't add all the bacon only a quarter of it and it was delish. I will make again and just double everything.

Yellow Squash Patties

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2013
I had to improvise a bit I didn't have cheddar so used parmesean from a can and used multi grain bread crumbs in place of corn meal. I loved this, it was easy to make my patties held up quite nicely maybe it is because I used my cast iron skillet!

After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2012
I chose to make this because I had most of the stuff on hand. I didn't have half and half and chose to use evaporated milk, this was quite tasty and I like that I can adjust it the next time I make it to my families preference. It was tasty and good use of leftovers!

Chocolate Cherry Cake III

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2012
After reading the recipe several times and looking at my dried mess in my bowl I decided to follow the cake directions and add the liquid since these directions just said add cherries and eggs....otherwise this would have been a 5 star dessert. IT was delish and the chocolate topping is a must. I did poke holes in the cake before adding frosting and WOW

Black Bean Brownies

Reviewed: May 28, 2011
I didn't have chocolate chips to add to this and I did substitute apple sauce for the oil. So based on that I am giving it 4 stars. I used what was on hand and I liked it but family was so so . I thini it's a great alternative to the white flour version!
