Thai Quivering Tenderloins

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2012
Doubled sauce - a must. Husband kept nodding as he ate. Sign that this recipe was a keeper. Good way to mix up my boring chicken/pork repertoire. I felt sauce was little too salty. Next time will ease up on soy sauce or chicken stock.

Always a big hit. Great sauce. I do reduce the salt as mentioned in other reviews. Definitely worth the time and effort.

Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2011
I wanted so much to like this recipe!! It was very flavorful - but to me, tasted too much like egg salad. Will maybe try again, but use balsamic vinegar and less Dijon. Or, might just stick to grilled meat with a chimichurri sauce.

Pumpkin Gingerbread

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
This is delicious. I give loaves as gifts all the time - and get many compliments and requests for recipe. Stays moist for days. I do double the spice amounts as that's just my taste preference. Gingerbread should be kinda spicy!!

Amy's Garlic Egg Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2010
Good garlic flavor. Chicken was moist. Kinda greasy. If I make this again will definitely use 2 egg yolks and use less butter. And, followed other reviewers and made less bread mixture. Overall, good recipe to mix up my boring chicken repertoire.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2010
Super moist and delicious. I did 1/2 c white sugar and 1/4 cup packed brown and 1/2 c whole wheat flour and 1 1/4 c white flour. Used canola oil instead of veg. Also, creamed sugar in with wet mixture. Will definitely make this recipe again.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Simple, delicious, perfect. I did add 1/4 tsp salt. Next time may add some instant espresso or coffee. Will make these again for sure.

Jimmy Dean Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2007
Reading the reviews of this recipe made me paranoid. I was nervous that it wouldn't taste good or cook completely. So, I made some of the suggested alterations - less milk, more sausage and I added tomato and green onion. It was awesome. I had so many compliments. And, it only took 60 minutes to cook. I think that preparing it the night before and refrigerating it may increase the cook time. Anyway, I will be making this dish often. It was delicious.
