About this Cook
Well let's see...I was born and raised in Queens, NY. I now live in New Jersey with my husband and our furbaby Ginger. My husband and I were married on New Year's Eve of 2006. I am passionate about cooking...I love it! I love creating dish's, trying new recipes, cooking for people. My parents owned a restaurant so that is where I developed my love for cooking. I just finished writing a cookbook of family recipes. It came out so fantastic..my dad was even impressed. It was a wonderful experience collecting all the recipes from my aunts, mom, dad and my brother.
My favorite things to cook
I love pasta so any pasta recipe.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love my dad's cooking! He is Greek and is such a fantastic cook. It's great because he never uses recipes, he just knows how to make things.
My cooking triumphs
My first Thanksgiving dinner! I had never made a turkey before so I was very nervous. I cooked for 6 people..my family and my husband...it came out great!
My cooking tragedies
I don't have any.......yet! =)

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken
LOVED LOVED LOVED this! And so did my husband..so much so that we were fighting over who was going to lick the serving spoon before we tossed it in the dishwasher! The only thing was...I used 2 tablespoons of Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce instead of regular hot sauce and it was SO spicy. I should have known better..so it's my own fault for not scaling down the measurement. I also added scallions and served it on top of white rice from the Chinese restaurant. It was EXCELLENT!! Quick..easy and wonderful!!

Chipotle Shrimp Tacos
O-M-G!!!! These were fantastic! I followed the recipe exact except that I didn't use the cilantro...I just do not like the taste of it. You definitely need to add the lime juice..it enhances the flavor of the tacos. I also added a few tablespoons of the adobo sauce to the bacon mixture as it was cooking. Great smoky/spicy flavor. I served them with guacamole and sour cream. This recipe is a keeper!! Thank you!!!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs
These are OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! I used whole rosemary springs instead of the minced and used boneless, skinless chicken thighs. Definitely mix some marinade with extra ranch for dipping...sooooo good! Chicken was juicy and tender! Great recipe!!!
