I am tired of going to buy doubles and getting nonsense (fried bake, pastry etc.) so I tried to find a recipe to make it on my own. This recipe is decent. I didn't follow it completely as I only let it rise for 40 minutes and instead of flattening the dough I stretched it out. The doubles were a little hard but as stated that was most likely my fault. But I feel that if I had done it properly that this would have been the perfect doubles. I will try this recipe again. I tried this recipe again and did as the doubles man does which fry one bara then put the channa in between fry another bara and put it on top and wrap it right away that way it stays soft
