This was a great recipe. It was the first chicken pot pie I have ever made. I made some of the changes suggested adding more seasoning...poultry seasoning, crazy mixed up salt, some chicken bouillon, garlic powder and finally being a Pennsylvania Dutch gal I added a pinch of saffron. For the chicken I made a whole chicken in the crock pot and used all the meat and both from the chicken. I added another half recipe of the sauce. I cheated and used ready made pie roll out crusts from Aldi. I did bake the bottom crust about 5 minutes before adding filling and did combine sauce, veggies and chicken before putting in crust. I made this in a large Pfaltzgraff bowl.
