I'm a retired Ford Motor Company Systems Analyst. I love to do crafts of all kinds. But most of all I love to cook new recipes. I would rather cook at home than eat out. I would love to have someone shop for groceries for me though :-)
My favorite things to cook
Everything! It's easier to say what are NOT my favorites: Homemade cakes, seafood (although I try to cook it every month or so), Stir Fry (I used to do a lot of that but not any more), pies (I'll make one for my hubby every once in a while but only with pre-made crust).
My favorite family cooking traditions
Using strange ingredients. My kids will never forgive me for the bean sprouts in their hamburgers.
My cooking triumphs
Nothing special, just everyday cooking for my husband who brags to his friends about my dinners.
My cooking tragedies
If anything needs to go under the broiler for "just a minute or two", forget it....it's toast. Garlic bread, meringue, whatever. I almost always get busy on something and forget about it.
