Best Ever Crab Cakes

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
Super good, made them for Xmas Eve party everybody loved them. Did a double batch as I had 2 /16 oz cans of crab. Didn't have tarragon replaced it with minced garlic on one batch and hot sauce on another, also did half lemon juice and half worcestershire, amazing! They are wet, added a little more cracker crumbs, chilled for an hour before cooking and coated them with italian bread crumbs, totaly amazing! I think the buttery crackers is the key ingredient in making these cakes taste so smooth.

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
I followed this recipe to a T and I must say it was quite bland, needed salt for sure. The bacon didn't cook all the way so I would suggest cooking it a little before wrapping the chicken with it. It was an impressive dish but just too bland for my taste buds, and my husband.

Stuffed Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
I have to give this one 5 stars, it was so amazing! 6 slices of bread it took for 3 cups. I covered it and convection oven at 325 for 50 minutes, I slow cooked, didn't uncover it and the meat was falling off the bone. Used thick pork chops and green onions. My husband was amazed a pork chop could be so tender. Definately a keeper this one! Thanks for sharing it

Lobster Bisque

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
Fantastic!, I did a couple of different things thanks to some previous suggestions. I had left over crawfish tails from a crawfish boil so used that instead of lobster. 1 cup whipping cream , 1/2 cup half and half and 1/2 cup whole milk. Onion was diced and also added little bit of green onion at the end. I added 1/2 cup of frozen white corn, talk about yummy! 3 pinches of cayenne and little more salt. My teenager loved it! Thank you for sharing this

Home Style Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2008
Pretty good, used 1 cup whole milk and 1 cup half and half. Used 1 1/2 cups of cheddar and 1/2 of monteray jack cheese. Used Spicey Mustard instead of Dijon. I agree with another member that 7 onces of noodles is not enough, did 2 cups. Once in the baking dish I stirred in Cubed Ham, I tell you this is the best part of this dish. Thanks for sharing this recipe, loved it.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2008
Real good Banana Bread. After doing my grandmother's recipe for it for over 20 years I decided to look for a different one to see who's is best and this one definately beats it. I did however add some cinnamon (1 tsp) like other suggested and since my daughter doesn't like walnuts I added 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, perfect! A+++++++, real smooth and not too rich, thanks for sharing this one!

Cheesy Stuffed Shells

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
Very yummy!, although I did not use the ricotta cheese, instead used a cup of mozzarella and 1/3 cups of half and half. The sauce I used was 1 jar and 1/2 of Pasta Sauce by "Classico" comes in a glass jar, very good. This one I'll be doing again for my family, no doubt. Thanks for sharing this!

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2008
Very tender, I used the thick pork chops, took a little longer to cook. All I had was chicken condensed soup so used that. When it's time to add that mixture to the pork chops I would suggest draining the pan you dont' need all that oil. This is a good recipe for tender pork chops. Thank you for sharing this!

German Schwenkbraten

This was pretty darn close to what I remember when I was in Germany for 4 years, real tender and flavorful but not as strong as the real thing, still real good though. Prost!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2010
Such a great recipe, smooth and not so sweet maybe because I did mine with 1 1/2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips and 1 1/2 cups of mint chocolate chips, and I used pecans. If you like a pepperment patty...then this is what you want to do it was soooo amazing!!
