My favorite things to cook
Chili, beef stew, meatballs, stroganoff, baked fish. Love to bake everything - especially carrot cake and cut out cookies. My new thing is trying new vegetarian dishes, and grass fed beef (yum!)
My cooking tragedies
Homemade bread. Apple Pie - I completely messed up the crust recipe. It looked good, but when you touched the crust, it collapsed, way too much flour. I scraped off the crust and spooned out the apples. The filling was terrific though :)

Cinnamon Rolls III
Not bad, pretty good, but not my favorite. The vanilla pudding gave it a cake-like texture, and somewhat off flavor. I probably won't make it again, as I like a more traditional roll with almost chewy dough.

Healing Cabbage Soup
Pretty good base recipe. I am giving it a 4 because I did 'zuzzh' it up! I used homemade chicken broth, added 1 tsp. hot sauce, a 1/2 tsp. cumin, few dashes of chili powder, 1 tsp. celery seed, chopped baby carrots, handful of rice, and kidney beans for protein. After all my additions, this is an excellent soup! It's very hearty for vegetarian style, but some ground beef added would be good too!

Excellent starter... I add a bit of olive oil to make it more creamy and some diced red or orange pepper.
