I absolutely love this combination of flavors. It is the most requested appy that I am asked to bring to parties. I have also mixed everthing together and served in a clear bowl with crackers, chips and pretzels. YUM!

Classic Cranberry Nut Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
This recipe is the same one that has been handed down in our family for many generations. It is wonderful. Sometimes we add pecans instead of walnuts for a change.

Chocolate Chip Cake Mix Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
My cake mix recipe uses: 1 cake mix, 1 egg and one carton of cool whip. Mix together and roll in powdered sugar and bake. Yum...I'll have to try the applesauce version.

Easy Cranberry Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2008
I have made a similar cranberry chicken for years (23 years). I have always used Western Dressing (French), whole cranberry sauce and dry onion soup mix. I would cover the pan with foil for the first 45 min. and then remove the foil for the remaining cooking time. Also if I was using chicken with skin and bone in I have cooked the chicken alone for 20 min. to remove some of the fat-before adding the rest of the ingredients. My family loves the french dressing version over the ranch dressing....

Fresh Frozen Cucumbers

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2008
Growing up this is how my mom would fix the cukes but she would add sliced onion and green pepper. It is good and refreshing. I also add the onion and green pepper.

Cranberry Chicken II

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
I have been making this recipe for 20 years. I have used a whole cut up chicken too. I also cover the pan with foil and bake for 1 hour and uncover and bake for 30 more min. We always serve this with rice. The sauce is great on the rice.

Bread Pudding I

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
I put the butter on the bread and then cut it into cubes. I also have done this in my crock pot. Make sure to spray the crock pot with pam. I cook it on high for one hour and lower the temp. for 2 hours...works great in the summer when I don't want to turn on the oven.

Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
I love the different textures...what could be better than strawberries, cream cheese and cool whip. YUMMY! Follow the recipe exactly and it will turn out great! Hint: frost the cream cheese mixture all the way to the sides of the container and cool your heated ingredients before combining.

Hearty Ham Balls

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
These are awesome! My family loves them! The only change I made is to use equal parts of ham and ground beef not the pork. You can use this in a loaf pan if you don't want to mess with rolling into balls. Of course, you will have to adjust the amount of time for baking.

Peanut Butter Chews

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2008
These are awesome. This is one of the bars (we put them in pans instead for easier serving) that we served recently at my daughters high school graduation open house. I never do these on the stove. I use the microwave. I put the syrup, sugar and butter in a glass bowl and when it is bubbling take it out and add the peanut butter.
