Baked Brie with Quebec Maple Syrup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2014
This is a simple yet delicious appetizer. I made them in individual dishes so I estimated the amount of walnuts and maple syrup to top for each. Also, I used Grade B maple syrup (personal preference) because it has a deeper, buttery flavor.

Banana Frittata

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2014
This is a great use of bananas that are just about to go by. I made half the recipe and added 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda for lift. It’s easy to flip in a small Teflon fry pan. It made for a wonderful breakfast.

Overnight Caramel Pecan Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2014
I agree with the other reviewers that the caramel coating and sugar/cinnamon/butter for the middle needs to be increased for the ultimate roll, but it was still good and rose beautifully before baking. With those revisions, this would definitely be a five star recipe.

German Twists

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2014
Recipe Group Selection for 11/15/2014 - These are phenomenal. My food processor was a little too small for this recipe, but I just finished it on my pastry board. I love that you can make them as sweet as you want by the amount of sugar you add to the layers. Thanks for sharing!

I added extra soy sauce but that was the only change I made. This is a very enjoyable and tasty side dish. We loved it.

Cranberry Orange Tea Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2014
This is a very moist and flavorful tea bread. I love the addition of any citrus zest in recipes, and the amount of orange zest in this recipe was just perfect for us.

Cioccolata Calda (Hot Chocolate Italian-Style)

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2014
This is a very interesting combination of a hot chocolate and chocolate pudding. I liked it, but it needed quite a bit more sugar for me.

Simple Creamy Garlic-Mushroom Chicken

I love the simplicity of this recipe, and it is a good, basic chicken dish, but when the family mixed it in with the rice pilaf I made, they loved it.

Muffin Tin Potatoes Gratin

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2014
Not only do they taste wonderful, but they make a beautiful presentation. Next time I may add a smidgeon more seasoning and maybe a little thinly sliced onion.

Momma's Mmm-Mmm-Magnificent Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2014
I sautéed the onion and mushrooms before adding it to the meat mixture. I should have put it under the broiler at the end to crisp the bacon, but I ran out of time. I don’t care for meatloaf, but my husband said it was very tasty and gave it 4 stars.

German Spaetzle Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2014
Thank you StickySue for your wonderful advice today on the Buzz. Because I didn’t have a spaetzle maker, StickySue recommended I take a plastic bag and punch 6 to 8 holes in it with a clean knitting needle or pen; spray the inside of the bag very lightly; put the dough into the bag and squeeze into the boiling water slowly. They came out perfect! We thought they made an excellent side dish.

Fruit Cobbler from Mott's®

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2014
This is the best cobbler I’ve tried that used canned fruit. The only change I made was to cut back on the applesauce that was mixed into the fruit. Topped with a little whipped cream, this makes a company worthy dessert.
