Valentino's Pizza Crust

Ideally, the most flavorful crust is made the day before, but if you are like me and don’t plan well, this will work out fine. I would decrease the sugar a little but it was a nice, crisp crust.

Spinach Chicken Parmesan

I thought this was a wonderful recipe, but I knew it would need extra seasoning for my tastes, especially as I wasn’t using any pimento. I added a chopped garlic clove and minced red onion that I needed to use. I had a package of shredded Italian cheeses so I used that instead of just parmesan. Also, is always my habit, I cut the chicken breasts into medallions, pounded them to a half inch thick, and then brined them for one hour to make sure they didn’t dry out during baking. They came out perfect. This is one dish that will be on my regular rotation.

Lisa's Best Ever Garlic Bread

About an hour before making, I chopped the garlic and added it to the butter that I had melted in the microwave. The garlic flavor infused beautifully into the butter. After toasting the bread, I brushed the butter mixture, wrapped the bread in foil, and popped it in the oven to heat. It worked out great and my family loved it.

Baked Jalapeno Poppers

I made this simple and tasty recipe to use up some leftover jalapenos and Monterey Jack cheese I had on hand. I would have preferred it made with the cheddar cheese, but it was still very good.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

I baked this a little longer than the recipe requested because my husband likes a crunchy cookie. However, despite the added baking time, these still came out fudgy. I added a little espresso powder to enhance the chocolate favor and added extra chocolate chips. These were deliciously chocolate and perfect for us chocoholics.

Hungarian Coffee Cake

If you’re looking for something a little different in a chicken dish, you may want to try this recipe. The flavor profile is complex, and the chicken comes out moist and flavorful. I deboned the chicken for ease in serving.

Buckwheat Pancakes

Easy and tasty, with a nice nutty flavor, these 100% buckwheat pancakes were very enjoyable. I still prefer buckwheat pancakes to have a little AP flour to lighten them up though.
