Since some reviewers said it wasn't chocolatey enough, (and I like it really chocolatey) I added a tad more cocoa powder and a teaspoon of instant coffee powder. I was surprised at how runny the batter was. It dripped a little out the bottom of my springform pans. The cakes didn't rise much, and were a bit sunken in the middle, but I'm not sure whether that was the recipe or my fault. It tasted fantastic, and was super moist. I think if I make it again I'll reduce the sugar, leave off the icing, and just dust it with a bit of powdered sugar, as it was really, really sweet. Even my sugar-loving kids couldn't handle much of it.
