My Kid's Favorite Pork Chops

Thank you so much for this recipe. The pork chops were very tender & had fantastic flavor. I had almost given up on pork chops, as they never turned out as tender as I liked. The beer took care of that. I used 2/3 of a bottle of Famous Dave's Devils Spit barbecue sauce, some worcestershire sauce & a small amout of water & Yuengling beer. Seasoned them with Montreal Steak Seasoning as suggested. My husband & I enjoyed every bite. Cooked it slowly on top of stove for about 2 hours. Will definitely be preparing this again.

Haddock Bubbly Bake

I first tried this recipe a year ago after having been served it at a dinner while visiting friends in Nova Scotia. Have made it 3 times at home so far & we enjoy it very much each time. Whenever i see fresh wild caught haddock at the market, I know what we will be having for dinner. Thanks for passing this gem on. I agree with others that this is wonderful served with mashed potatoes. Veda

Sweet and Sour Green Beans

This recipe was easy to prepare & went well with the beef brisket that we had for Christmas dinner. Will make again, but may subsitute fresh or frozen green beans & chicken broth.

Tofu Parmigiana

Absolutely wonderful!!! I had some marinated mozzarella pieces on hand & added some of them to the shredded cheese topping. Used homemade spaghetti sauce instead of canned tomato sauce. Will make often. Thanks Jill.

Mexican Chicken I

Cooking boneless chicken breasts in a sauce in the oven really appeals to me. Little chance of dryness. However, a 400 degree oven caused the black beans to become a bit crunchy after an hour. Next time I prepare this, I will bake at 350 degrees & add the black beans in with the salsa mixture. I topped this dish with shredded muenster cheese & baked just until melted for the last few minutes. Delicious even with the slight crunch.

Zucchini Tomato Pie

This is a very simple recipe that is helping to use the abundance of zucchini that we have this time of year. I added fresh marjorum, fresh basil & a chopped jalapeno pepper for added flavor. Delicious!

Zucchini Casserole II

With our zuchinni crop increasing daily, I needed some recipes quickly. This is a delicious dish. I splurged with real butter, but cut back on fat using low fat sour cream & reduced fat cream of mushroom soup with excellent results.

Less Fat Gingersnaps

Made these for holidays & was very disappointed. No mention to chill dough. After working with it, I realized that chilling could help. Not for long....still ended up with more dough on my hands than I could bake into cookies.
