About this Cook
I have always cooked almost anything I needed from recipes passed down from grandparents and Mother. Recently our oldest son had a heart attack and 3 stents put in an artery that was 100% blocked. We were blessed that he lived. I am now cooking healthier for my spouse and myself and trying to change old habits. Any low sodium, low fat, recipes for a healthy lifestyle are appreciated.
My favorite things to cook
Casseroles, pork roast, stews and specialties are desserts and good old southern food...
My favorite family cooking traditions
We always rate recipes from 1-10, with 10 being best. Any new recipes that fall below an 8 are not kept. That includes all of our kids, in laws and grands.
My cooking tragedies
I never conquered true home made biscuits , as my Mother and Grandparents did, however we can not all succeed at everything, how else would we get a friend or family to fix our best/worst foods? Right?
