Chicken Wild Rice Soup I

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2014
This is a fantastic soup! Quick and easy! I followed other reviewers suggestions and sautéed celery, carrots, mushrooms (if I have them), and onions with a little bit of butter or olive oil then add the chicken, broth, and water. I definitely think the added vegetables makes it a more heartier soup, and anything to add more vegetables to my kid's meal, I am all in! =)

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: May 5, 2014
Loved it and was a hit at our family BBQ! Did turn a little watery as it set but still didn't stop people from eating it. I did follow some other reviewer's suggestions. Heated the beans slightly so it'll mix better with the seasoning, Left out the green pepper and onions. Used a can of rotel in place of the tomatoes. All in all is was a quick and easy dip and so happy I made it!

Quick and Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: May 5, 2014
Turned out fantastic! I needed a quick weeknight meal that I could easily substitute ingredients so I didn't have to run to the grocery store. I halved the recipe, didn't have egg noodles, used macaroni noodles, didn't have crm of mushroom so used crm of celery, and didn't have peas so used broccoli. I followed another reviewer's suggestion, added about 1/4 cup of sr. cream, a little milk, and added a little sharp cheddar cheese that I had left over with 4 slices of cheese. I sautéed the onions with garlic, mixed all together, and put it in a casserole dish, topped with itialian breadcrumbs moistened with butter, then baked for about 20 mins at 350 and turned out delicious! Pleasantly surprised and full! Thanks to Shimmerchk for her great suggestions, I think it really upped an okay dish to delicious!

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2011
Very easy and versatile recipe! Love it! I usually use chicken thighs, and bake @375 for about 45 mins and then broil for a couple minutes to get a nice crispy skin. I also use italian seasoning for the parsley. The chicken comes out moist and flavorful!

Excellent recipe! Made this for Thanksgiving for family and has been requested non-stop! Followed the recipe exactly expect used 8 granny smith apples, and per other reviews, left out the water, added a little vanilla extract, and doubled the topping.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
Followed the recipes pretty much to the tee, except went light on the red pepper flakes, used crushed tomatoes and lite cream since that was all I had. Mine turned out alittle soupy but I am beginner cook so I don't doubt that was to my mistake. But my fiance loved it! And that means a lot since he's an italian food snob, raised by italian step-father and grew up in Jersey. Excellent recipe and very flexible!

Angel Hair Pasta with Garlic Shrimp and Broccoli

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2010
Turned out great! Even though, as a beginning cook, I made some slight mistakes, it turned out very tasty and my 3 year old ate it up!
