Chicken Cordon Bleu Bites

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2012
OH MY GOODNESS!!! These were a huge hit at our house! I read many reviews and decided to change a couple of things to make these my "own". I took ground chicken, 1 ham slice put into the food processor and ground up really fine, 1 egg, about a 1/4 cup italian breadcrumbs, shredded swiss cheese & freshly minced garlic. I threw all of that into a bowl and mix it all together. I then formed into balls and rolled them in a mixture of breadcrumbs & parmesan cheese. I threw them into the oven at 350 for about 10-15 mins. Just keep an eye on them so the don't burn or get overcooked! So I used all the same ingredients but just switched things up a bit! I served with mashed potatoes, green beans, & crusty rolls. This is definitely going to be a new family favorite in our household! Thanks for sharing!! :)

Sloppy Joe Casserole

Reviewed: May 8, 2012
Having leftover sloppy joe meat I searched sloppy joe casserole and found this one! Very good recipe, like others instead of using rice I used elbow macaroni and I added peppers, garlic and a little bit of ground mustard to the meat mixture. I didn't use mushroom because my husband isn't a fan but it turned out perfect without them! Thanks a bunch for sharing this simple easy recipe. Def a great way to use up leftover sloppy joe meat! :)

Baked Corn

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2011
I have been looking for a "baked corn" recipe for a very long time! The recipe I have been making for holidays for the past 3 yrs is more of a corn pudding not baked corn. My mother-in-law lovessss baked corn from this one restaurant and I searched & searched for a real "baked corn" recipe and came across this one. I made it for Thanksgiving to take to my MIL's house and everyone absolutely loved this recipe! I did make one minor change though, I cut the butter back to a half cup instead of 1 cup like others had shared. Thanks you so very much for sharing this recipe Rhonda! :)

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2011
AB-SO-LUTE-LY THE BEST OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES I HAVE EVER MADE! I bake all the time and have tried a numerous amount of oatmeal raisin cookie recipes and never came across one that was this stinkin good! I did make two changes..I didn't have any cloves so I did a big sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice. (approx. 1/2 tsp), and also didn't have the butter flavored shortening so I just used regular crisco shortening and they turned out fine! Thank you so very much for sharing this recipe with everyone Beth! It's def a keeper & I WILL BE MAKING THESE AGAIN! :)

Russian Green Bean and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2011
I love to try new things so I thought why not give this recipe a try? It smelled delicious and looked delicious but I just was not a fan at all. I know for a fact when my husband gets home he is not going to be happy with it either. I have two boys who aren't picky eaters and they disliked it as well. I do want to thank you for sharing your recipe though. I'm glad so many others enjoyed it but def is something I will not make again.

Green Grape Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2009
The first time I had this was at my cousin's baby shower. It was a big hit! When I saw it, it didn't look too appealing but everyone else was raving about it. I finally gave it a try and loved it!! My aunt made it a little different though. She did 1 lb of green grapes and 1 lb of red grapes..she also added 1 can of crushed pineapple and 2 small cans of mandarin oranges (drained). Instead of doing the pecans and brown sugar as a topping we mixed it in. I hope this helps.
