Grandma's Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2009
I made this with a can of peaches in light syrup instead of apples and orange juice. I used one or two slices of peach per roll, depending on the size of the peach slices. I used the leftover juice from the can, which ended up to be about 1/2 a cup of juice, and used cranberry juice to fill to the rest of the 3/4. This was fantastic, and made my house smell delicious! Will definately make again!!

Sopapilla Cheesecake Dessert

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2011
WoW! This was delicious, I made no changes. I wish there was a way to re-heat it, because the best time to eat it is when it is still warm in the middle! My whole family loved it.

Chewy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2011
i didn't press my dough down very much, so they turned out very fluffy, more like cake cookies. But, they tasted awesome. Followed the ingredients exactly and cooked for about 10 minutes

American Shepherd's Pie

followed some of the reviews and used a can of corn, a can of green beans and a can of mushroom soup instead of the veggie soup it says. YUMMY!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2012
I changed most everything in this recipe, but the idea is still the same. I only cooked for 2, so 2 green peppers is all I made. 1/2 lb of ground beef, 1 cup of spaghetti sauce, 1 cup of instant white rice. After the beef was done cooking, I added everything else, and let the rice cook. I also added 1/2 a stick of cream cheese which gave it a lot of flavor! Seasoned myself with italian seasoning, garlic powder (instead of using a clove of garlic, and Worcestershire. Great go to recipe though!

Boston Cream Pie Minis

Reviewed: May 10, 2012
All I can say is YUMM!! I didn't use as much filling in my cupcakes, so I had a bunch left over. I made a chocolate cake and used the leftovers as the icing, and it was almost as good as these cupcakes. I will make these again!

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2012
This was great! I did as a few suggested and added about a tablespoon of butter to the mixture. Served it with rice, broccoli and cheese, and garlic bread. My husband, who is very skeptical of my cooking, really loved it!

Cheesecake Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2012
So good! Made as a few suggested by only putting about 2/3 the brownie in, then the cream cheese mixture, then the rest of the brownie mix. Will be making again!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2013
Deee-licious!! I tried this for my mother's birthday. I made it in two 8" round pans, so it only took about 35 minutes to cook. I stacked the two cakes, put a mixture of cool whip/cocoa/ powdered sugar in between it all, and topped it with a simple chocolate glaze. Decorated it with mnm's, and voila... a delicious, extremely chocolatey cake. It was good the first day, and it was good the second day. Didn't last longer than three days in a house of three people!

Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms I

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2013
My family LOVED these, even though my husband doesn't like mushrooms, he ate three of them! I didn't use any red wine, as the mixture tasted delicious by itself, and I didn't mix in the chopped stems either, figured there was enough of the mushroom taste. I stuffed these about 4 hours prior to dinner, then just threw them in the oven when I started cooking the main course.
