Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Makes a very good and quick meal. I reduced the chicken to two large breasts, and added two chopped red peppers and one coarsely chopped onion. I took others advice and tossed the chicken in flour before browning.

Amazing Pecan Coffee Cake

This coffee cake is amazing! I was worried it wouldn't be as tasty because I had to sub 1/3 of the sour cream with vanilla yogurt, but it turned out great! I cooked it in a bundt pan, with the pecan mixture in the middle. Excellent!

Pumpkin Cake III

Delicious! I followed other reviewers advice and used 3/4 cup oil and 1/2 cup applesauce and it was terrific and moist. I also used three teaspoons of my spice blend (it contains cinnamon, ginger, cloves, allspice and nutmeg) instead of the cinnamon.

This turned out beautifully. I did have to cook it for an extra twenty minutes, but I have a very old oven. I didn't use a water bath, but it didn't crack and tasted fantastic.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Delicious! I used chicken breasts, and decreased the temperature to 375, and baked until they reached 155F, about 35 -40 minutes, basting frequently.

Peanut Butter Noodles

I love this recipe! I have tried many peanut noodle recipes and this is the one I keep coming back to. It is easy and delicious. Sometimes I add chicken or shrimp to bulk it up a bit, but it is wonderful as is. I often sub whole wheat spaghetti noodles for the udon.

Easy Apple Rhubarb Jam

This recipe makes a very tasty jam! The only thing I would change next time is to leave out the pectin. I like my jam soft, and there is enough pectin in the apples without adding more. Because I don't like the texture of the first batch of jam I made, I have been using it to coat pork roasts before cooking - makes a very tasty and easy dinner!

Plum Blueberry Upside Down Cake

I liked this cake a lot, it was very pretty and quite tasty. I added a tsp of homemade spice mix to the batter (a blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves) and I only used as many blueberries as needed to fill the center, about a third of a cup.

Fluffy Pancakes

I have been using the same pancake recipe for 15 years, but I couldn't find it the other day and decided to try this one out. This is my new pancake recipe. Wonderful! The only thing I changed was to use only one tablespoon of vinegar to sour the milk.

Easy Salsa Meatloaf

The only changes I made was to use three slices of fresh bread and a teaspoon each of oregano and basil in place of the bread crumbs. I used ground turkey, and it turned out fantastic. Moist and flavourful. Will be making it again!

Yogurt Cake

Delicious and moist. I made it mostly as written, except that I had no lemon extract, so I subbed vanilla extract and the zest of one lemon. I glazed it with a simple lemon juice and powdered sugar glaze.

Lemon Icebox Pie III

Delicious. I served it at a dinner party and everyone loved it. The only changes I made were to use the juice and zest of three lemons, and add a teaspoon of vanilla. I used light cream cheese and it turned out perfectly. I served it with lightly sweetened whipped cream.

Tarragon Vegetables
