Chef John's Strawberry Ice Cream

This was fun! I've never made Strawberry Ice Cream before and this turned out wonderful. Used fresh strawberries and used food processor to puree. Glad I choose this recipe. Thank you.

The Best Lemon Bars

Made these today for my niece, and boy did she love them. I have never had a lemon bar so I didn't know how they were suppose to be. My niece said they were perfect and she took most of them home. I also liked them and I'll be making them again, so thank you for a new recipe for my collection. >^..^

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

First time ever making a Lemon Meringue Pie. Glad I choose this recipe. The lemon curd has great flavor and is spot on. The meringue came out perfect. The human error on my part was the lemon curd didn't settle and I know it is because I did something wrong. But it was good to eat anyway. Being the first time here, I am positive I will figure it out, meanwhile thank you for sharing and I will be making this again. Oh by the way.. I made this into 6 individual pies using a jumbo muffin tin. What fun I had making these. Whipping up the meringue I was in there laughing my head off watching it come to peeks. Thank you Emilie S. Update: The filling actually got firmer after having it in the refrigerator a few hours. So I guess all really went well. Will be making these again.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Made these pot pies tonight for my family. First time ever trying to make one. I doubled the recipe as I wanted to fill 4-14 oz. ramekins. It worked out great I had just the right amount. I made the filling in one pot, then added the chicken I cooked (made chicken broth earlier in the day) to the filling. Heated it through and filled my ramekins. I only used one pie crust on the top, as we really don't like too much crust. This recipe got wonderful responses from my family. The flavor and consistency was perfect. We really liked it a lot. I will be making these again and again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful chicken pot pie recipe.

Rich Chicken Broth

Just made this chicken broth today. It was very easy to make and the flavor is great. I think Semigourmet is right, I will be makeing this again so I will have it on hand instead of using store bought. I use a lot of chicken broth in different recipes, and this recipe made quite a lot, so will be freezing some. Glad I tried this recipe, and thank you Semigourmet for sharing this great recipe.

Grandma Rita's Soft Butter Rolls

Oh ... these are quite good! They are a breeze to make, making them a go to recipe when you want dinner rolls. Followed directions to the "T", and very happy with the flavor and texture. I will be making these again, and quite often as they will also make a good roll for making sandwiches. I would also use this recipe as a good hamburger bun. Thank you Lela for sharing this great recipe. I'm giving them 10 stars. Perfect!

Fajita Seasoning

This is really, really good. I followed this recipe to the "T", didn't change one thing. I made Fajitas with it and it was exactly what I was looking for in flavor. The aroma is so wonderful. I am so happy I decided to use this recipe, and you can bet I'll be using it every time I make Fajitas. I give it 10 stars! >^..^

Best 'Philly' Cheese Steak

Made this delicious steak sandwich tonight and it was a big hit with my family. We don't eat American cheese, so I used Cheddar instead. Also made it on my home made French Baguettes. Other than those two ingredients (personal preferences) I followed your wonderful recipe. My husband liked the mixture so much, he is talking about making tacos tomorrow with the left over. We are giving this recipe 10 stars, and will be making this many more times. Thank you for sharing.

Made these three times now. Tonight husband said, "These are great for every thing. Let's just have this bread from now on". We love them. For toast, sandwiches, or with just butter with any meal! And they freeze well. Glad to have found this recipe. >^..^

Fried Rice

Oh Semigourmet... this is the best rice dish I have ever made. My Mr. agrees and kept complimenting the flavor while enjoying this rice. Followed the recipe to the "T". I made the vegetable version because I served it with Baked Parmesan Cod. We give this 10 Stars. Great combination of vegetables! Perfect. We love it! Will be making it over and over. Can't wait to serve it to my next dinner guests. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe! >^..^

Libby's® Famous Pumpkin Pie

Well this is delicious. Better the next day after resting in the fridge overnight. The onion I think may be a little to much for me, so I will make again using maybe half the amount. Thanks for the great recipe. This was the first time I have ever made a Tapenade, glad I choose this one.

Pico de Gallo

This is really good. Only thing is I did not use the cumin (the Mr. does not care for it) or garlic powder. I used minced garlic instead from the jar as I find it easier than mincing a clove myself. The Mr. really enjoyed the flavor of this. It gets our 5 stars. I am excited to use it on tacos and in burritos. I am using it tomorrow with home made chips. Love it! Thank you! >^..^
